BIRTH - BASTIA, CORSICA

 

For this photo shoot with a family in the Bastia region, I chose a documentary approach, emphasizing the spontaneity of the exchanges and natural light.

I like to work with light as it is, observing how it moves through a room, shapes faces, and reveals details. Here, the soft contrasts, shadows, and warm tones of this interior naturally guided my compositions.

Rather than multiplying poses, I let the moments build themselves, searching for the right frame, the right perspective and that balance between a cinematic aesthetic and the authenticity of the moment.

An organic approach to photography, where technique remains discreet to give full rein to what happens in front of the lens.
