THE LEATHER GOODS MAKER OF PENNE-D'AGENAIS - FUMEL TOURIST OFFICE LOT VALLEY

 

Leather, tools, the precision of the movements, and the time devoted to each creation. In Penne-d'Agenais, I immersed myself in the daily life of a leather craftsman to document his expertise and the world of his workshop.

For this photographic report commissioned by the Fumel–Lot Valley Tourist Office, I chose to pay particular attention to materials, details, and ambient light. A documentary and organic approach, where the compositions are built around the artisan's gestures, without seeking to interrupt them or artificially stage them.

Beyond the profession, this series also tells the story of a place, a passion, and a way of working.
