FAMIGLIA - LA MARANA, BASTIA, CORSICA

 

On the Marana coast, near Bastia, I carried out this photographic session focusing on the first bonds that are formed between a mother and her child, in a natural environment, between beach and vegetation.

For this series, I chose to work with a more organic aesthetic, playing with natural light, backlighting, and the contrasts of black and white. Close-ups, depth of field, and variations in perspective allowed me to give the images an intimate, almost documentary feel.

My approach was to let interactions happen naturally, without trying to direct every movement. To observe, anticipate the light, and capture those fleeting moments where a look or a gesture is enough to tell a story.

A photographic exploration of motherhood and family ties, where spontaneity meets a sensitive and cinematic visual style.
